The Boss GK5-KIT-G7 transforms your seven-string electric guitar into an instrument that can interact with BOSS synthesizers and V-Guitar systems while maintaining the natural sound of your classic pickups.

Designed for professional installation, this kit includes the GK-5 split pickup, main circuit board, connector plate, switches, GK volume knob, LED and all necessary wiring.

Each component is designed to integrate harmoniously with the instrument, leaving the musician free to position the controls as he or she sees fit.

The split pick-up picks up each string independently, allowing precise, stable playback of the digital signal via the Serial GK interface. This configuration opens up a whole new range of creative possibilities, from driving synthesizer sounds and enriching textures to exploring the unique high and low registers of the 7-string guitar.

The three-position selector switch makes it easy to switch between the GK signal, the classic signal or a mixture of the two, while the GK knob adjusts the volume or other assignable parameters.
