Mipro - Pack ACT 616 + ACT 600H

The Mipro ACT 616 + ACT 600H pack combines two complementary components to form a complete wireless microphone system: the ACT-616 receiver handles signal reception and output, whilst the ACT-600H provides direct voice capture via its MU-85A capsule. This combination eliminates the need to assemble the system from separate components and ensures a fully integrated setup from the moment of installation.

In use, the system is particularly straightforward to operate. The handheld microphone features ACT synchronisation, which allows its settings to be quickly transmitted to a compatible receiver. Once the connection is established, the audio signal is received by the ACT-616 and sent to the mixing desk or PA system via its balanced XLR output. The output level can be adjusted to suit the audio system in use.

The ACT-600H provides optimal voice pickup thanks to its supercardioid polar pattern. This configuration prioritises the sound source in front of the microphone whilst further reducing sound from the sides, which can be particularly useful when a stage, hall or sound system needs to be kept under control. The microphone’s metal body and design are also suited to regular use in live performances.

On the receiver side, the ACT-616 utilises digital diversity across a 48 MHz UHF band. Its 44.1 kHz / 24-bit audio processing, dynamic range exceeding 110 dBA and latency of approximately 2.9 ms ensure accurate sound reproduction whilst maintaining a comfortable experience for both the speaker and the sound system. The Auto Scan function also makes it easy to find an available frequency before use.

The system also features 256-bit encrypted transmission, which is particularly relevant when the microphone is used in institutional, professional or event settings where the confidentiality of communications must be ensured.

The system is therefore equally suited to a conference room, a public venue, an educational facility, a place of worship or a stage performance. The half-rack receiver can be installed in a control room or a mobile rack, whilst the handheld transmitter allows the user to move freely whilst speaking.
