Mipro - Pack ACT 616 + ACT 600T + MP800

Speaking whilst moving around a room, addressing an audience without standing behind a lectern, or playing an instrument whilst maintaining a stable audio connection: certain situations require you to have both hands completely free. It is for this reason that the Mipro ACT 616 + ACT 600T + MP-800 pack is so useful. The pocket transmitter clips onto your belt and allows you to choose which source to connect, whilst the charging station completes the set-up by making it easy to prepare for subsequent uses.

The ACT-600T features a Mipro 4-pin Mini XLR input designed specifically for lavalier and head-worn microphones. A single transmitter can therefore be used by different people or for different types of presentations without requiring a handheld microphone. Its adjustable metal clip ensures it stays securely on the belt, and at just 96 g, it is discreet enough not to hinder movement.

Once the signal has been transmitted, the ACT-616 handles reception on a single channel. Its digital diversity technology uses two antennas to maintain the radio link, whilst 44.1 kHz / 24-bit DSP processing ensures the conversion and reproduction of the signal. The balanced XLR output then allows the receiver to be connected to a mixing desk or a sound system.

Set-up can be carried out quickly thanks to ACT auto-sync. The receiver also features an Auto Scan function to search for an available frequency within its UHF band of 494 to 542 MHz. Digital transmission with 256-bit encryption adds a layer of protection suitable for presentations, conferences or other applications where audio exchanges must remain confidential.

The transmitter offers several settings to adapt to the connected source. Its input gain can be adjusted from −12 to +18 dB, whilst the low-cut filter, audio limiter and polarity reversal allow the signal behaviour to be fine-tuned. Power can be supplied by two AA batteries or by a rechargeable 18500 lithium-ion battery.

The MP-800 therefore simplifies the management of this battery. Its docking station accommodates a compatible transmitter and provides both fast charging and trickle charging, with LED indicators to monitor the charging status. Once the job is done, the pocket unit can be returned to its docking station rather than left with a partially discharged battery.
