Streaming equipment

The MuxLab 500759 TX Dante simultaneously transports an HDMI video signal and a Dante audio stream over an IP network. It enables picture and sound to be separated and distributed independently in extended AV installations.

ARTICLE N° 122123
In environments where audio and video must coexist without constraint, the network approach takes on its full meaning. The MuxLab 500759 TX Dante goes beyond simple HDMI over IP transport by directly integrating audio management via the Dante protocol. This makes it possible to create two distinct logical networks, while using a common physical infrastructure.

On the video side, the device supports resolutions up to 4K with different sampling formats, including 4:4:4 at 30 Hz and 4:2:0 at 60 Hz. HDR support in 4K at 30 Hz (4:2:2) completes the package, making it possible to meet today's needs for dynamic broadcasting. Latency remains contained to around one frame, guaranteeing consistent synchronisation in the majority of professional applications.

The main advantage lies in the separation of the streams. The video signal can be distributed to a large number of screens or integrated into a configurable video wall, while the Dante audio can be routed independently to compatible equipment, whether processors, active speakers or consoles. This flexibility opens up architectural possibilities that are particularly well suited to fixed installations, event venues or multi-room systems.

As with the other models in the series, implementation is based on standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cabling with a range of up to 100 metres. The PoE power supply simplifies installation by limiting electrical constraints. Control functions, including IR and RS232, also enable remote control of equipment.

Overall management of the system can be centralised via a dedicated network controller or a mobile application, while the Dante audio component integrates naturally into the Audinate management tools. This clear separation of roles facilitates deployment and day-to-day operation.
