In a modern AV installation, video distribution no longer relies solely on physical matrixes. The MuxLab 500759 TX follows this logic by offering HDMI transmission over an IP network, providing great flexibility for deployment and upgrading. It enables a video signal to be routed up to 4K at 30 Hz or Full HD at 60 Hz via a simple Ethernet network, while maintaining very low latency.

The main advantage of this solution lies in its ability to manage complex architectures. By combining several transmitters and receivers, it is possible to build large video walls that can be freely configured in X by Y. The system can be adapted to both point-to-point broadcasting and multipoint configurations, depending on the needs of the project.

Integration into an existing network considerably simplifies cabling. A Cat5e or Cat6 link covers up to 100 metres between the equipment and an Ethernet switch. Power over Ethernet (PoE) adds to this simplicity by limiting the number of external power supplies required, which is particularly useful for large installations.

In addition to video transport, the 500759 TX also supports control functions. IR and RS232 signals can be transmitted over the network, enabling remote control of equipment. This capability is essential in professional environments where sources are not always physically accessible.

For more advanced installations, the addition of a dedicated network controller enables centralised configuration and management via an interface accessible from a browser or mobile device. This approach makes it easier to implement and operate the system on a day-to-day basis.
