MuxLab - 500762 RX - Récepteur HDMI H.264/H.265

In an architecture based on video compression, the role of the receiver is to ensure faithful reproduction while retaining the flexibility of network transport. The MuxLab 500762 RX follows this logic by supporting the decoding of H.264 and H.265 streams for UHD-compatible HDMI broadcasting.

This model receives encoded streams from a transmitter or other compatible sources, with support for up to 4K at 60 Hz output. When a Full HD signal is transmitted, it can be upscaled to 4K to fit newer displays, making it easy to integrate into mixed installations.

One of the key points of this solution is its ability to operate on a variety of networks. The stream can circulate over a traditional local network, but also via WiFi or the Internet, enabling AV systems to be deployed across several zones or remote sites. This approach is particularly well suited to environments where flexibility is more important than dedicated cabling.

The 500762 RX supports several streaming protocols, including Multicast, RTSP, RTMP and HLS, making it easy to integrate into existing infrastructures. Despite the use of compression, latency remains under control, with a low-latency mode of around 200 ms in H.265.

In addition to video, the device can also extract audio, notably via a digital output, making it possible to separate image and sound. RS232 and IR functions enable remote control of equipment.

As with the other products in the range, the PoE power supply simplifies installation, while overall management can be provided via a dedicated network controller or a mobile application.
