The MuxLab 500770 TX transmits an HDMI and USB signal over an IP network to control a computer remotely. It can be integrated into distributed KVM systems to manage several machines from a single workstation. Suitable for technical environments, it makes it easy to centralise IT control.

ARTICLE N° 122178
In environments where several machines need to be supervised from a single point, KVM over IP solutions provide a flexible and scalable solution. The MuxLab 500770 TX is part of this approach, making it possible to remotely control a computer's display and USB peripherals via a standard Ethernet network.

This transmitter connects directly to a workstation or server via HDMI and USB. The video signal and peripheral data are then transmitted over the network, allowing a remote user to access the machine as if they were physically in front of it. Combined with a compatible receiver, the system displays the image on a screen and provides access to peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse or other USB equipment.

The main advantage is centralised management. An operator can switch from one station to another using simple commands, enabling several machines to be supervised from a single control point. This approach is particularly useful in environments such as data centres, control rooms or IT infrastructures requiring continuous monitoring.

Transmission is up to 100 metres via Cat5e or Cat6 cable, with the option of creating point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configurations. By integrating several transmitters and receivers on the same network, it becomes possible to set up a distributed KVM architecture suitable for large-scale installations.

The system also supports audio transport, with insert and extract functions as required. The PoE power supply simplifies installation by limiting the number of cables required, making it easy to deploy in existing environments.

This type of solution is particularly suited to applications requiring reliable and responsive remote access, such as server management, educational environments, graphics studios or multimedia broadcast systems.
