Neumann - KMS 104 plus
studio quality microphone for use on stage with a Neumann condenser capsule and all the virtues of a robust stage microphone: excellent pop protection, enormous SPL capability and high resistance to feedback, thanks to its narrow cardioid pick-up pattern. Compared with the KMS 104, the KMS 104 plus offers extended bass response.
Presentation
Examples include percussion, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, harmonica, acoustic guitar and guitar amps.
The KMS 104 plus is also a superb microphone for home recording and broadcasting applications. Being optimised for close placement, it will pick up a dry sound with very little ambience, which is a big advantage in untreated rooms.

At the same time, the KMS 104 plus has the robustness required of a stage microphone, disproving the myth that condenser microphones must be 'fragile'. The KMS 104 plus can handle enormous sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB without clipping, and its narrow cardioid pick-up pattern guarantees high gain before feedback.
The KMS 104 plus has a much smoother frequency response than dynamic microphones and an airy top end. Compared to dynamic microphones, the Neumann KMS 104 plus has a much better transient response, which translates into a more immediate and emotional vocal sound.
In other words: effortless intelligibility, without the usual equalisation boosts, which further improves resistance to feedback.
