The Peavey Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe is a stompbox-style guitar preamp based on the lead channel of the Bandit 112 and Supreme 160 Teal Stripe from the early 1990s. It features Pre and Post Gain controls, a gain switch and a mid-shift for fine-tuning saturation and midrange character. Thanks to its internal 18 V power supply, it produces tight, aggressive, saturated sounds with a wide dynamic range.

The Peavey Bandit Supreme Teal Stripe faithfully reproduces the lead channel circuit of the Bandit 112 and Supreme 160 Teal Stripe amplifiers. This compact preamp is aimed at guitarists looking for the saturated grain typical of 1990s rock and metal productions.
It features a TransTube analogue circuit designed to reproduce the response and attack of an amplifier. The Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls allow you to fine-tune the amount of saturation and the output level. A Gain Boost switch increases gain for denser, more compressed sounds. The Mid-Shift switch changes the midrange response from a full register to a more pronounced dip.
Active Bottom, Body and Edge EQ allow you to sculpt the bass, midrange and attack. Each band can be boosted or cut by up to ±15 dB for targeted adjustment. The internal bipolar 18 V power supply operates from a single 9 V block. This architecture maintains good dynamics and reduced background noise. The hard bypass incorporates an anti-click circuit for silent switching.
The pedal can be used in front of a guitar amplifier without any special adaptation. It can also be connected directly to an interface or power amp. The die-cast case protects the electronics when on stage or in transit. This preamp is ideal for guitarists who want the Teal Stripe character in a pedalboard format.
