The Peavey Rock Master is a stompbox-style guitar preamp, designed for 90s-style saturation and clean attack. It features TransTube technology, an active Bottom, Body and Edge EQ and dual Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls for fine-tuning your sound. You can use it in front of your amp, a power amp or as a loop monitor, with a silent hard bypass.

Presentation
The Peavey Rock Master uses the Ultra circuit from the Rock Master rack from the early 1990s in a compact format. It features a TransTube architecture powered by an internal 30 V boost from a standard 9 V power supply. This design allows you to retain dynamics even at high gain settings.
The Pre-Gain control adjusts the amount of input saturation while the Post-Gain adjusts the output level. Active Bottom, Body and Edge EQ act like a console section with precise cuts and boosts. The Mid Shift switch alters the frequency range of the Body control to tailor the midrange to your playing. A Gain Boost switch adds a useful notch of saturation for your solos or harder-edged rhythms. The hard-bypass includes an anti-click circuit for clean engagement on stage.
The pedal can be plugged directly into your guitar amp without complicating the chain. It can also be used in front of a power amp or in an effects loop. The 1 kOhm output impedance makes it easy to integrate with your modern or older rigs. The robust format remains stable on your pedalboard and withstands regular use.
