Pioneer DJ - DM-50D (La paire)

The DM-50D speakers produce a balanced, punchy bass sound, and can be turned up when you need it, as each speaker is equipped with a new Class D amplifier and 5-inch woofer. The highs are clearer too, thanks to the new advanced DECO convex drivers. And if you want to create tracks to include in your next DJ set, simply use the switch on the speaker to switch from DJ mode to Production mode, and the DSP settings will automatically adjust to create the best sound for each application.

You can connect your DJ rig or home studio to the DM-50D speakers via their RCA and mini-jack inputs or their new TRS input. Best of all, the volume knob and headphone jack are on the front of the unit, for easy connection and quick volume control. And with a choice of black or white models, you can choose the colour that best suits your home.

Each DM-50D speaker produces pure, balanced bass sound, thanks to a new Class D amplifier with 96 kHz sampling DSP. Another advance over the DM-40 model is the improved design of the DECO convex drivers, which deliver extremely clear highs in all directions, so you can enjoy extended sweet spot and 3D stereo sound wherever you are in the room. When you turn up the volume, the new 5-inch woofer adds extra power and is perfectly aligned with the tweeter, so all sound frequencies can be heard very clearly. Duct grooves reduce air friction for clean, punchy bass, even if you place the speakers against a wall. What's more, the curved front edges offer maximum rigidity and minimum resonance for pure sound at any volume.

2. 2-way mode optimised for DJing and music production
There's no need to decide whether you want speakers for DJing or production, because the DM-50Ds are perfect for both. Simply change the position of the switch to select either DJ or Production mode, and the DSP parameters will be optimised accordingly, leaving you free to concentrate on your mix.

3. easy to use with different DJing or production equipment
Using the RCA and mini-jack inputs or the new TRS input, you can connect different types of equipment such as DJ controllers and mixers, or the laptop or sound card you use to produce your own music. Plug in and unplug your headphones easily using the socket on the front of the DM-50D. And there's no need to reach behind the speakers to adjust the volume - the level knob is right in front of you.
