The RME ADI-648 is a 2 x 64-channel bi-directional converter, MADI to ADAT and ADAT to MADI, in 24 bit / 96kHz. In today's studios, the RME ADI-648 is required to convert formats between different types of digital inputs and outputs. This interface offers format conversion from MADI to ADAT and vice versa, over 64 audio channels in 24 bits / 48 kHz and 32 channels at 96 kHz. The transmission is carried out on a single line, coaxial (BNC) or optical fiber (network). In both cases, the cable length may be greater than 100 meters.
