Rme - HDSPE AIO PRO
The successor to the popular HDSPe AIO, the Pro version offers professional studio and broadcast users the same high channel count and variety of analogue/digital inputs and outputs of the HDSPe AIO. In terms of technical features, RME has completely reworked the HDSPe AIO Pro, setting a new standard in PCI Express cards.
Presentation
The new HDSPe AIO Pro is based on the AK5572 and AK4490 reference processors derived from the high-end ADI-2 Pro AD/DA converter. The analogue input range also uses the circuit design of the ADI-2 Pro (+24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu). In addition, RME has enhanced the outputs with additional reference levels (balanced: +24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu; unbalanced: +19 / +13 / +4 / -2 dBu) allowing even more versatile integration into audio systems. The HDSPe AIO Pro has a dedicated attenuator in the output section, resulting in an increased signal-to-noise ratio and lower output impedance at low reference levels.
Another highlight of the HDSPe AIO Pro is the newly developed headphone output, which is powerful and extremely transparent. Thanks to the mute relay with switchable output levels, there is no unwanted crackling at the headphone output and the XLR and RCA analogue outputs when the computer is switched on.
