With its converters capable of accepting levels of up to +24 dBu per channel, RME offers a dynamic range that adapts to a variety of sources, whether analogue hardware or external processors. You adjust the aliasing filters directly to fine-tune the frequency and impulse response, giving you precise control without relying on complex external software.
This model incorporates full redundancy with dual network connections and dual MADI links, making your installation secure when continuity becomes essential. An internal power supply is complemented by a monitored DC input, and a warning system gives you a clear indication of any anomalies, so you don't have to be in any doubt when every signal really counts.
Settings can be accessed directly from the front panel or via a web interface accessible over a network, making it easy to manage even remotely via Wi-Fi or USB without any heavy lifting. The internal routing matrix lets you assign each channel individually between all the inputs and outputs, offering real flexibility for quickly adapting your audio stream to your needs.
The 2 independent headphone outputs let you control different mixes without having to add an external headphone amp, simplifying your setup. Thanks to the stand-alone function, you can recall complete presets directly from the device, which is handy when you regularly change your configuration without wanting to reconfigure everything every time you use it.
