Rme - X8X8 PRO 5m
With the RME X8X8 PRO 5m multi-pair cable, eight XLR channels are combined into a single cable. Each pair of connectors, consisting of a male XLR and a female XLR, is individually labelled to make it easy to identify the different channels in a multi-channel setup.
Presentation
The individual labelling of the connectors serves a practical purpose here: each channel can be quickly identified at both ends, making it easier to connect and track the cabling when several channels are used in parallel. The 5-metre length also allows greater freedom in positioning the connected equipment, particularly when the units are not situated directly side by side.
The RME X8X8 PRO 5m retains a black finish with a cable diameter of 14 mm. Its sixteen connectors comprise eight male XLRs and eight female XLRs, each individually numbered to ensure the correct channels are matched.
This model, designated X8X8Pro5, is therefore designed for analogue audio set-ups requiring eight XLR connections grouped together over a length of 5 metres. It is the longer version of the X8X8 PRO configuration, whilst retaining the same connection principle of connecting a male end to a female end.
