Created for 8-string guitars, the Apocalypse-VIII Pickup Set Black applies Apocalypse's Tri-Field design (Alnico V/Ceramic 8) by enlarging it (up to 71 mm bridge spacing) and integrating 16 pole pieces to guarantee precise capture and crystal-clear definition of the low F string. The Apocalypse-VIII's bridge pickup has a high DC resistance (around 12k ohms), which, combined with its passive design, offers extremely high efficiency and formidable clarity for Djent and saturated drop-tuned sounds, without the need for an active power supply.

Schecter's Apocalypse-VIII Pickup Set Black is for guitarists who want to tame the raw power of their instrument without losing the precision of nuance. Each pickup in this passive duo has been designed to deliver a wide, muscular response, ideal for 8-string guitars.
Its tri-field design cleverly combines an Alnico V magnet in the centre with two lateral ceramic 8 magnets, a blend that balances organic warmth with incisive attack.
Beneath the black, industrial-coated surface, the construction exudes robustness, with a nickel-silver base plate, four-conductor wiring and sixteen high-grade steel bushes guaranteeing stability and fine-tuned harmonics. The universal 71mm spacing ensures a perfect fit, even on guitars with atypical configurations.
On stage or in the studio, the Apocalypse-VIIIs reveal a tight grain, precise bass and biting treble. They respond to the most intense playing dynamics, without excessive saturation, giving guitarists total control of their register, from heavy riffs to clear, cutting solos.
