Schecter's C-5 Plus Charcoal Burst is for bassists looking for a versatile, comfortable 5-string. Its basswood body, enhanced by a quilted maple top, combines a balanced sound with a modern aesthetic. The screw-down maple neck, combined with a rosewood fingerboard, offers a pleasant playing feel and precise response.
With its slim 'C' profile, 24 narrow X-Jumbo frets and 35" scale, it allows you to explore the lower registers with good tension, while ensuring fluid access to the whole register. The 16" fingerboard radius makes it easy to play in a variety of styles.
The two Schecter Diamond Bass pickups, controlled by a volume, mix and 2-band EQ, give you the freedom to adapt your sound to suit your needs: deep lines, present midrange or more direct attack.
With its Charcoal Burst colour, chrome hardware and Diamond Bass bridge, this bass combines reliability and character, ready to accompany you in the studio or on stage.

The Schecter C-5 Plus is one of the first 'Deluxe' and 'Plus' models to join the Diamond Series, a range initially designed to offer affordable instruments without sacrificing quality. The funny thing is that, despite its 'entry-level' positioning, the C-5 Plus adopts the elegant curves of the C-6, a guitar well known to Schecter, giving it a look and ergonomics worthy of the more upmarket models.
