The MonsterTone PT kit is based on Schecter's original pioneering F500T design from the 70s, offering a classic Telecaster sound with enhanced twang and clarity through the use of direct-coupled Ceramic 8 magnets and oversized carbon steel pole pieces. A key feature of this series is the tapped design of the pickups, allowing you to switch between a full, powerful output (around 7.7k ohms at the bridge) for a hotter sound, and a lower output for a more traditional, crystal-clear tone.

Schecter's MonsterTone PT Pickup Set Black has been designed to produce a dense, responsive sound for guitarists who want the presence of dual coils without the loss of playing precision. This HH kit combines a bypass design with Teflon-coated three-conductor wiring, guaranteeing a clean signal and excellent resistance to parasitic noise.
Its structure is based on a traditional VFB coil construction, coupled with ceramic magnets mounted in direct coupling. This technical choice favours a lively attack and firm sustain, while maintaining a linear response across the entire spectrum. Nickel-plated carbon steel pole pieces ensure stable, uniform pick-up, whether you're picking or finger picking.
With a resistance of 7.7 kΩ at the bridge and 6.6 kΩ at the neck, the MonsterTone PT boasts a balanced, dynamic output. The universal spacing of 56 mm at the bridge and 51 mm at the neck fits most modern guitars. The result is a solid tonal base, capable of accompanying both tight grooves and more subtle melodic lines.
