Schecter's V-100 Pickup Set P90 Black is the modern answer to the P90, using an Alnico V magnet and custom screw pole pieces to deliver a fat, articulate sound that transcends classic blues, offering the attack of a single coil and the power of a humbucker to excel in crunch and rock/hard rock distortion. Each V-100 pickup features a four-conductor harness and screw-pin design, which not only ensures excellent punch, but also allows advanced wiring options to sculpt a rich sonic palette, from thick P90 vocals to simple, clean tones.

When you put Schecter's V-100 P90 Black on your neck, it's like giving your instrument a new voice - a raw, expressive voice. This set of passive P90 pickups adopts a universal 50 mm spacing to fit most Strat-style cavities without constraint.
The wiring is based on a four-conductor harness coupled with a split-coil design, so you can switch to brighter modes without disturbing the phase, offering a more versatile tonal palette than you'd expect from a P90. The chassis, meanwhile, features a base plate made from carbon composite polymer, a lightweight, stable material that supports the magnetic field without parasitic vibration.
The twelve adjustable philister-head metal screws work in concert with an Alnico V bar magnet to form a homogeneous, energetic field. In the bridge position, the resistance is 10.2 kΩ; on the neck, 9.0 kΩ, a moderate difference that helps maintain cohesion and balance when switching. The result for the guitarist: a clear grain, a fresh attack, dynamic agility between the strings, ideal for rock, blues or fusion contexts where every nuance counts.
