Schecter's Z-Plus Pickup Set Floyd Black is designed for electric guitarists using modern vibratos, with a sonic approach focused on clarity and balanced response.
Designed for 53mm tremolo instruments, this set of passive humbuckers is based on a split-coil architecture and four-conductor cabling, allowing a variety of configurations to suit playing needs. The construction is based on a direct-coupled Alnico V magnet, for dynamic response without excessive high frequencies.
Each pickup is mounted on a solid nickel-silver base plate, ensuring stable conductivity and a robust structure. The twelve high-carbon steel bushes, combined with adjustable pole pieces, allow precise adjustment of the balance between the strings, useful for technical passages or complex tunings.
With a maximum output power of 14.5 kΩ, the set offers sufficient reserve to drive an amp without artificially saturating the signal. The discreet black colour can be easily integrated into sober or more assertive configurations.
