SE Electronics - V Beat

The SE Electronics V Beat is a dynamic microphone specifically designed to pick up drum elements such as snare drums and toms. Its compact size makes it easy to position, even in tight configurations, while still allowing good freedom of placement around the kit.

Its supercardioid directional characteristic means that the pick-up is focused on the target source while limiting feedback from other drum elements. This behaviour is particularly useful both live and in the studio, where source separation is a key issue.

The frequency response of 30 Hz to 19 kHz reproduces both the impact of low frequencies and finer attacks. The dynamic capsule, based on the design of the V7 X, offers precise reproduction, suitable for percussion but also for other sources such as guitar amps or brass instruments.

The microphone incorporates an internal capsule suspension that reduces mechanical noise caused by vibration. An internal windscreen is also supplied to limit plosives and certain parasitic noises.

The V Beat is connected via a standard XLR output and does not require an external power supply. It can be used on its own or in conjunction with dedicated mounting accessories, such as V Clamps, for rapid integration into a drum kit.
