Presentation
The Antiquity JB Jazz Set is the first vintage pickup kit to receive the Antiquity treatment.
These humbuckers offer a tone rich in overtones and a balance of sustain, distortion and clarity, softened by the smoothing effect of aged alnico 5 magnets and years of simulated sweat, dust and oxidation.
With the upper mids of the bridge pickup cutting through so well, and the warmth and articulation of the neck pickup, the familiar tonal character is very much present.
Each Antiquity JB/Jazz set is handcrafted using the same select materials as the original 70s models, including a long-legged nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, original Jazz and JB model stamp, alnico 5 magnet, heavily aged butyrate coils and vintage-style braided sheath lead wire.
