The BOSS GK5-KIT-G6 is a complete kit designed to integrate the GK-5 split pickup into a six-string electric guitar, complete with dedicated controls, signal selector and Serial GK digital interface for compatible V-Guitar synthesizers and systems. Designed for professional installation, it brings together the pick-up, electronics, cabling and controls to connect the instrument to a wider world of sound while retaining the use of conventional pick-ups.
Presentation
The slim, discreet split pickup is positioned close to the bridge to pick up each string separately. This independent pickup forms the basis of the GK system and allows the guitar to be used with compatible guitar synthesizers or V-Guitar systems. Thanks to the Serial GK digital interface, signal transmission remains stable and precise.
The kit also includes a number of controls designed to maintain direct control while playing. A three-position switch lets you choose between the GK signal, standard guitar pickups or a mix of the two. The GK knob is used to adjust the volume or other assignable parameters on the connected device. A momentary switch activates functions S1 and S2, depending on the configuration selected.
Everything you need is included: GK-5 transducer, main electronic board, GK connection plate, potentiometer, switches, power LED, cabling and mounting hardware for installation.
