In collaboration with the guitarist from Fear Factory, this active pickup incorporates a preamp that delivers a massive, silent and perfectly equalised signal right out of the box. The attack is immediate, as sharp as a blade, making every note of a staccato riff distinct and identifiable.

The difference with a passive model lies in its total control. The preamplification slightly compresses the signal while eliminating any background noise, resulting in a fast response and musically crushed dynamics. Bass is deep and defined, never muddy, even in low tunings, and treble remains punchy without becoming strident. It's the sound of an ultra-modern metal chain, condensed into a single microphone.

Designed as a Trembucker, it fits floating bridge guitars with precise alignment for balanced response across all strings. Its active output requires a 9V battery (not included), so you can maintain this precision over long cable runs in concert.
