Built with a basswood body and a graphite-reinforced three-piece hard maple neck, the XT-2 is both lightweight and durable. Weighing just 3.4 kg and with an overall length of 98 cm, it is ideal for travel, including in airline overhead compartments.

Thanks to its headless construction, the bass is optimally balanced, offering a comfortable playing experience, even during long sessions. The SlimTaper "D" neck profile recalls classic 1960s basses while promoting a smooth and fast playing experience.

With a standard 34-inch scale length, a 14-inch fingerboard radius and 24 medium-jumbo frets, the XT-2 guarantees impeccable playability for all musical styles.

The patented DoubleBall™ bridge system is a highlight of this instrument. With a direct adjustment mechanism with a 40:1 ratio, it ensures precise intonation and remarkable tuning stability, even during the most intense performances. In addition, this system allows for quick and easy string changes, whether using the included DoubleBall strings or other conventional strings thanks to the included adapter.

On the electronic side, the XT-2 is equipped with two Steinberger humbucking pickups (HB-2 in the neck position and HB-1 in the bridge position), which deliver a rich and versatile sound. The intuitive controls include a volume for each pickup and a master tone, making it easy to adjust the sound to suit various musical genres.
