Markbass - MB 4 3-Tone Sunburst PB + Housse

The Markbass MB 4 3-Tone Sunburst PB is a Precision Bass-style bass, designed to make playing easier whilst maintaining a solid tonal response. The maple neck and laurel fingerboard, with a scale length of 864 mm, provide a familiar feel.

The split-coil pickup in the centre position delivers a powerful, tight and rich response in the lower end of the spectrum, with enough presence to carry a bass line within a mix. This passive circuit, controlled by volume and tone, is particularly well-suited to those seeking a Precision Bass sound for rock and pop, with a deliberately direct approach.

The construction combines a solid poplar body, a maple neck and a 20-fret laurel fingerboard, forming a solid foundation for an instrument intended for regular musical use. The final quality control checks carried out at Markbass’s Italian headquarters also ensure a high standard of finish, with each instrument receiving attention on a par with the brand’s higher-end ranges.

Its versatility extends to classic rock, country, punk,
f and grunge, thanks to a sound characterised by clear fundamentals and a well-defined low end. The MB 4 bass is perfect for rock, punk and grunge, retaining a distinct sonic identity, suitable for both fingerstyle and pick playing, with a simplicity that leaves plenty of room for creativity.
