Presentation
The Mariposa catches the eye with its unique offset design, dreamt up with Omar Rodríguez-López. Its Nyatoh body is light and comfortable to hold.
Beneath its original appearance, the Mariposa reveals a wide range of sounds. The two humbucking pick-ups, each adjustable with its own volume, allow you to move from a clear, precise sound to more intense saturation. The 3-position selector simplifies the choice of combinations, and the vintage tremolo bridge lets you add an expressive vibrato without losing the tuning.
The roasted maple neck ensures stability and comfort under the fingers, with a rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium-high frets that naturally follow the movement of the hand. The screw-down neck ensures a secure fit, while allowing for easy adjustment. The lockable action secures the tuning, even when using vibrato.
As you play, the Mariposa becomes a pleasure to explore. Sound textures reveal themselves intuitively, and the guitar invites you to improvise or explore your favourite sounds. The playing experience remains smooth and captivating, with a natural balance between ergonomics, aesthetics and musical possibilities, true to the creative spirit of Omar Rodríguez-López.
