Supro - 64 Reverb

The Supro '64 Reverb takes the minimalist chassis of the '64 Super and adds a signal path that few 5-watt combos dare to incorporate. The 6V6 power tube remains the tonal anchor — that warm, rich tone, that natural Class A compression — but the three 12AX7s and the 12AT7 in the preamp now form a tube reverb stage that does more than just colour the signal: it splits it. The separate Wet, Dry and Mix outputs transform this 10.5 kg combo into a studio reverb hub, capable of simultaneously feeding a processed signal and a dry signal to two distinct destinations.
The Mix Out Level control adjusts the balance between the processed and raw signals in the mixed output — a feature absent from ordinary amps with built-in reverb, which are not designed for such precise signal manipulation. The two instrument inputs accommodate two simultaneous sources, whilst the 8-ohm output and the two 4-ohm outputs allow for expansion via an external cabinet. The 8-inch Jensen C8R with an alnico magnet reproduces the reverb tail with an organic warmth that ceramic drivers unnecessarily harden. The 400 × 190 × 300 mm poplar cabinet houses all this within a compact footprint.
The controls — Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Master — remain instantly legible on stage. The single TS footswitch socket is compatible with a Supro footswitch (sold separately) to engage or disengage the reverb whilst playing. The Silver/Blue grille and Dog Bone handle visually place this amp firmly in the same family as the Keeley Custom models, sharing the same minimalist design and the same depth of sound.
