Three watts tell a different story to one watt, and fifteen tell yet another: the Supro Amulet 1x10 — a Thomann exclusive — puts this choice in the user’s hands via a single Wattage control. At 1 watt, the 6L6 power tube enters saturation at a level that won’t drive the neighbours out; at 15 watts, it delivers its full headroom and that typical American tone, tight and clear on the attack. The 10-inch Celestion G10 Creamback — a speaker with a rich mid-bass response and smooth treble — renders these power variations with remarkable tonal consistency across the entire range.
The three 12AX7 preamp valves and the 12AT7 form the upstream gain stage, with Volume, Treble and Bass controls for basic shaping. The tremolo — with adjustable Speed and Depth — and the reverb are added without overcomplicating the circuit design; the Supro Dual SF2 footswitch, sold separately, controls them remotely via the dual TRS socket. The in-house Supro transformer stabilises the power supply across all power ranges, ensuring a consistent response regardless of the Wattage setting.
The poplar cabinet, finished in Black Scandia with cream piping and a black grille, visually places the Amulet within the Supro family. The dual 8-ohm speaker outputs allow an external cabinet to be connected in parallel without the need for impedance reconfiguration.
