The 10-inch Supro DK10 speaker is housed in a 1x10 configuration, a compact design that concentrates the sound energy without dispersing it. The analogue spring reverb provides that depth typical of vintage amps, whilst the 2-band EQ (Treble, Bass) keeps the controls simple, without an overload of knobs.
When it comes to effects, the built-in boost and drive change the texture of the sound without the need for additional pedals, and the Pigtronix FAT mode adds bass where the 10-inch speaker sometimes falls short. The built-in master volume allows you to push the valves into saturation at low volumes – a major selling point for anyone rehearsing in a flat.
The finish is understated: a poplar cabinet, black Tolex, black piping, a black grille and a rubber handle combine to create a no-frills ‘Black and Black’ colour scheme. In terms of connectivity, the instrument input, Line Out and dual TRS footswitch jack allow you to use the Supro SF2 Dual footswitch (sold separately) to control the boost and reverb with your foot.
