Presentation
If the Santa Fe series has made an impression, it is largely thanks to its NEX shape, a true balance between ergonomics and sound breadth. The FSF40C model is no exception to this rule by adopting a body with harmonious curves that naturally fits the musician's posture. While the solid mahogany of the back and sides gives a typical warmth, the cedar top provides a subtle and expressive resonance, ideal for highlighting every nuance of the playing. This combination of carefully selected woods makes this guitar an instrument whose soul vibrates with each chord, providing an immediate connection between the performer and his instrument.
The new CTF-2N preamp is a formidable ally for those who want to project their playing faithfully. Paired with the Palathetic microphone, it preserves all the richness of the acoustic timbre and adapts it to any amplification without ever betraying the sound identity of the instrument. With its two-band EQ, Notch filter and adjustable attenuator, each setting becomes a real gateway to advanced sound customization, for an immersive and controlled experience.
On the neck side, the Takamine FSF40C plays the comfort card with a rosewood fingerboard with a 400 mm radius and a 42.5 mm nut that promote remarkable fluidity. While the fingers slide with ease on its 20 frets, the turquoise inlays on the fingerboard discreetly recall the pattern of the rosette, bringing a subtle and distinctive aesthetic touch.
