The Trace Elliot Dual Band Compressor pedal lets you work separately on bass and treble for precise control of dynamics. It has 2 independent bands to keep the weight on the bottom and the sharpness on the top without crushing the attack. It can be adapted to both passive and active bass, thanks to its input and output controls.

The Trace Elliot Dual Band Compressor pedal is for bassists who want controlled dynamics without losing character. It allows the bass and treble to be treated independently, helping to keep the bottom end solid while allowing the attacks and harmonics to breathe.
The Lo Band setting acts on the low frequencies to stabilise the playing and strengthen the foundation. The Hi Band setting controls the snap, precision and definition of the upper end of the spectrum. This approach avoids the crushing effect often associated with single-band compressors.
The pedal includes automatic gain after compression, allowing you to maintain a consistent level without complex adjustments. Input and Output controls allow the pedal to be adapted to different signal levels, whether passive, active or line signals.
The internal bipolar 18 V power supply from a 9 V source offers a wide dynamic range and limits any risk of unwanted saturation. True bypass allows the pedal to be completely removed from the signal when compression is not required.
The die-cast enclosure easily withstands regular use on stage. The controls are simple and easy to read, designed for quick adjustments in real-life situations. The pedal is equally at home in the studio or live. It allows the bass to sit more firmly in the mix without masking the playing. The sound remains natural, controlled and consistent.
