The Two Notes Torpedo Captor X is a compact and portable reactive load box, amp attenuator, cabinet simulator, IR charger and stereo expander that gives you unprecedented control over your guitar sound at home or on stage.
It's the ultimate solution for guitarists who want to play in their bedroom with both tube amp sound, corrected room acoustics and carefully selected speakers and pickups.
Torpedo Captor X is also a tube amp attenuator: you know that the 'grit' you're looking for is only achieved when the amp is cranked up all the way, and the Captor X lets you enjoy it at lower volumes, right down to total silence over headphones.

Stereo Reverb with SPACE control on the unit to adjust stereo widening. Create refined studio acoustics and huge rooms for cinematic ambiences

EQ: semi-parametric in Torpedo Remote, VOICING control on the device. Voicing is a fast tone control that instantly adjusts the overall sound of all presets. You may need a quick adjustment depending on the location or recording. Adjust to the left to boost the midrange and cut through the mix. Adjust to the right for a deeper, more modern sound.

Twin Tracker virtual guitarist: automatic track doubler. The mono sound from your amp is routed to the left output and the Twin Tracker creates another track (a virtual guitarist) on the right output in real time. Slight differences in time and attack create a massive sound.

Enhancer with Body, Brilliance and Thickness control: sometimes you need a bit of magic to get the sound you're looking for. Enhancer combines dynamic and EQ processes calibrated for guitar and bass. Thickness and Brilliance act on the lower and upper end of the spectrum respectively. Body gives your sound presence and consistency.

Dual Mono: sends signals with different eq and reverb level settings to the front panel and returns

le captor X est vraiment bien pour pousser les ampli à lampes et ressortir le son à un niveau acceptable et donc conforme aux attentes. l'autre fonctionnalité de pouvoir changer de cab est vraiment sympa avec les presets. Maintenant, je n'ai pas eu le temps de tout explorer avec la connexion sur PC.

Très bon produit si vous souhaitez enregistrer sans micro! Le traitement du son via l'application associée permet d'obtenir très vite de bon résultats. Moins performant en atténuateur pur si vous souhaitez n'utiliser que cette fonction. Mais je connais peu de modèles capables d'excellence sur ce point.
