With UVI’s Quadra Metal and Wood virtual instrument (downloadable licence), you have a creative space designed to combine the sounds of wood, metal, bells and mallets. The four layers allow you to combine multiple sound sources and have them evolve together or separately.
The 64-step sequencers make it easy to create grooves, arpeggios, harmonies and rhythmic patterns, whilst the MIDI effects add variation and, in particular, allow for quantisation across a scale. The XY pad offers a direct way to manipulate sounds.
The factory bank includes 335 presets, with ready-to-explore combinations for music, film and video games. Edited sequences can be exported as MIDI to a track in your DAW. Quadra Metal and Wood is therefore ideal for projects requiring finely crafted sequences and evolving textures derived from both acoustic and electronic sources.
