The Wampler Mini Ego 76 Compressor takes a different approach to pedal compression, drawing its inspiration directly from studio processing. It takes the principles of the famous FET 1176 compressor and adapts them to a compact format that can be used on a pedalboard.

The circuit is based on FET technology, renowned for its fast response and ability to preserve signal character while controlling dynamics. This design provides responsive compression, capable of smoothing out the playing without overpowering the nuances. The result remains natural, with a feeling of control rather than a marked effect.

The main controls allow you to influence the output level, the amount of compression and the blending of the signal. The blend control plays a central role, allowing part of the original signal to be reinjected.
