Yamaha - BBP34 Vintage Sunburst
Designed for bassists looking for reliability and character, Yamaha's BBP34 Vintage Sunburst features a solid wood body (alder/maple/solid alder) and a maple/mahogany neck for a naturally balanced sound. The YGD V7 pickups provide a precise, nuanced tonal palette, while the rosewood fingerboard facilitates fast, fluid playing. Made in Japan, this 4-string bass responds with precision, both on stage and in rehearsals.
Presentation
The body is made of three layers of wood (alder, maple, solid alder) for better vibration diffusion, and the mahogany/maple neck provides robustness and a strong attack. The rosewood fingerboard provides a pleasant feel and good support while playing.
Thanks to IRA technology, this bass responds naturally from the first note, so it's ready to play without break-in. The Yamaha Convertible Vintage Plus Light bridge offers two types of settings: through-string or bridge-mounted, with two insert options to vary the feel under the fingers.
In terms of sound, the Alnico V pickups deliver a rich palette of tones, with good articulation in both bass and midrange. Last but not least, the Vintage Sunburst finish and black pickguard add to its sober, assertive look. A complete model, for confident playing on stage or in the studio.
