Presentation
AKG's black P120 is a side-address condenser microphone with a cardioid pick-up pattern designed to capture vocals, acoustic guitars, percussion and amplified instruments in project studios, home recordings and live recordings.
The 0.66" low-mass gold-sputtered diaphragm delivers clear sound with precise detail. It is capable of handling sound pressure levels of up to 150 dB without introducing perceptible distortion.
A switchable low-cut filter at 300 Hz helps to reduce rumble or wind noise, and a switchable 20 dB attenuator allows the very loud sound sources associated with close miking to be recorded without distortion.
The all-metal body improves RF interference rejection, allowing the microphone to be used close to wireless transmitters and microphones.
The P120 is built to withstand high temperatures and humidity. The robust body and front grille protect it from rough handling.

Spotlight on
Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
