ESI Audiotechnik - cosMik 10

The cosMik 10 from ESI Audiotechnik has been designed as a versatile studio microphone, capable of adapting to a wide variety of recording applications. Its cardioid pick-up pattern allows effective concentration on the source in front of the microphone, while limiting the pick-up of surrounding sounds. This makes it ideal for recording vocals as well as acoustic guitars, guitar amps and other instrumental sources.

The condenser capsule with 1-inch diaphragm plays a central role in the cosMik 10's sound reproduction, allowing for fine reproduction of harmonics, transients and playing nuances, where simpler microphones can quickly smooth out or mask certain details. The extended frequency response contributes to a balanced sound image, in both low and high frequencies, without artificial accentuation.
