Presentation
The Audio-Technica AT5040 microphone features a capsule made up of four rectangular elements operating simultaneously as a single transducer (their outputs are summed together), the largest ever created by Audio-Technica. As a result, it has twice the effective surface area of a traditional 1-inch diaphragm.
With very smooth highs and controlled sibilance, the AT5040 is ideal for voice and dubbing, as well as acoustic instruments such as piano, guitar, string instruments and saxophone.
