Static Microphone
Miniature hyper-cardioid condenser microphone with built-in preamp. The M1280BS is designed with an extended frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz. Despite its size, it has all the attributes of a world-class recording microphone. Built-in low-noise electronics allow the microphone to function as both a proximity and a remote microphone. It can be used on a wide variety of acoustic instruments, as well as vocal ensembles.

The hyper-cardioid microphone can be installed at half the working distance of a cardioid microphone if required, in situations where the volume is high on stage or there are many open microphones, this pattern is useful to further isolate the instrument or voice from the rest of the instruments on stage.
