The "White Cone" is back!

Avantone Pro, in collaboration with legendary sound engineer Chris Lord-Alge, has designed the CLA-10, the most faithful reproduction of the world's most iconic studio monitor. Now anyone can mix on the monitors that define the 'hitmaker sound'. A huge amount of meticulous design and detail work has finally made white cone monitors available to everyone! Since production of the NS-10 ceased, the supply of replacement components has become increasingly expensive and less available. Avantone Pro has created an almost exact replica of the original speakers. Using our global resources and a decade of experience in speaker construction, it was finally possible to faithfully replicate the components, updating the materials to meet modern environmental standards.

The dome of the AV10-MHF tweeter has undergone a complex engineering process to obtain the correct dosage of phenolic resin to match the original performance curve. The AV10-MLF woofer uses bespoke mechanical parts that faithfully reproduce the original. This was made possible by working closely with one of the original suppliers of the NS-10 to achieve exactly the same rigidity and weight. The only difference is a pressed cone instead of a polished cone. This allows for a better match in each cone manufactured, which has made it possible to package them as a pair with 2 matched units!
