Presentation
The DE250TN 16 Ohm compression driver is one of B&C Speakers' tried and tested references for professional PA systems requiring robustness, stability and acoustic coherence.
This version with conventional connectors is particularly suited to designs where the internal wiring is soldered or made using traditional methods, offering great freedom of integration for loudspeaker manufacturers and integrators.
With a 25 mm (1") groove, the DE250TN fits a wide range of standard horns and is easy to install in two-way or multi-way loudspeakers.
Its recommended crossover frequency of around 1.5 kHz makes it easy to connect to midrange or low-midrange speakers, while maintaining a clean, well-controlled transition zone, essential for intelligibility and coherence of the sound message.
The titanium diaphragm is a central element of this engine. Appreciated for its rigidity and mechanical strength, it allows operation at high power levels while maintaining precise, stable reproduction at the top end of the spectrum.
Combined with a 44 mm aluminium voice coil, it enables the driver to operate over a wide dynamic range, with an extended response up to 18 kHz, suitable for demanding broadcast applications.
