Boss - DD-3T
For more than 30 years, the DD-3 has been the staple of pedalboards around the world. Now a new contender enters the ring, introducing the BOSS DD-3T Digital Delay Pedal - with a built-in tap tempo, simplified loop access, improved bit rate output and up to 800ms of the same mirror image players have come to rely on, this pedal has everything you love about the original, and then some. An industry classic, now updated!
Presentation
One of the main additions to the DD-3T is tap tempo. You can now enter the exact tempo of your song, dynamically, using the built-in switch or an optional external switch. Scanning with the Mode button gives you several subdivision options - quarter note triplets, dotted eighth notes or straight quarter notes - to find the mood that best suits your material.
Up to 800ms of repeats to record a long sound
The immersion, vibrancy and sound of the classic DD-3 is in full effect in the BOSS DD-3T. Using three scales and a full D.Time control, players can quickly access rockabilly slapback repeats with chiseled delay ambient worship textures in no time. Like the DD-3, the sound of the DD-3T is par excellence - clean, bright, shimmering, this pedal is the picture of a great pedalboard.
Enhanced loop functionality
The original DD-3 is prized for its Hold function. Don't worry - that sound is fully preserved in the Short Loop mode of the renowned DD-3T. Just as in the original, players can capture and continuously loop 800ms of sound - be it a pad, riff or noise - and play over it to create exciting stage dynamics.
Relocation of dry output
The DD-3T's Direct Out (dry output) has been moved to the same side as the wet output for a more intuitive workflow and easier integration with the rest of your stomps. By using both outputs, it's now possible to have total control over where you send signals: the dry output to the front of your amp's preamp and, for example, the wet output to your FX loop.
