Despite the end of its production in 1984, BOSS DM-2 Delay remained much sought after by guitarists worldwide for its warm sound and the analog delay "bucket brigade". Today, this coveted compact pedal reborn in the form of DM Craft Waza-2W, with selectable sound modes and greater versatility for current music styles. With an analog circuit 100%, the standard mode of the DM-2W reproduces the impressive range of delay of 20 to 300 ms of the original DM-2. The Custom Mode modifies meanwhile the sound characteristics by providing an analog sound with more than twice the length of delay available on the original pedal.

Niveau fabrication, c'est du Boss, donc on connait. Retour de la DM-2 mais avec un mode custom qui délivre jusque 800ms contrairement aux 300 de l'originale, un peu limitée. Les connectiques ajoutées sont un peu superflue, j'utiliserais la deuxième sortie ponctuellement en studio celà dit. Les répétitions sont assez brillante pour un analo (contrairement à une Carbon Copy par exemple), du coup elle est un peu moins chaleureuse sur guitare mais elle passe très bien sur basse, claviers et voix. Le seul bémol c'est la consommation de 40mA, assez élevé pour une analo.
