With the Gigcaster 8, you can broadcast and improvise with impressive guitar and bass sounds without any additional gear.
Simply plug into the front-panel jack and play along using premium amps and effects inherited from the famous top-of-the-range GT-1000.
Versatile preset patches give you 100 ready-to-play sounds, and 200 user slots are available for storing parameter settings and custom sets.
And with external control available via footswitches, expression pedals and GA-FC or GA-FC EX controllers, you can operate your Gigcaster hands-free while you play.
The Gigcaster 8 has 4 XLR/Jack combo inputs for connecting instruments and playing with other musicians.
Dedicated vocal effects, inherited from the popular VE range, let you sing with compression, voice correction, delay and reverb.
You can even generate automatic harmonies based on your chosen key.
The effects have also been adapted for comment, with transformations and console effects to enhance the rendition for connected sources.
8 sound trigger pads are also available for triggering musical themes, sound effects, sample loops and playbacks, divided into 8 banks per pad. That's a total of 64 sounds on demand.
Samples have been pre-loaded at the factory, and you can add your own sounds using the Gigcaster 8 app.
With its 32-bit/48kHz audio quality, the Gigcaster 8 is also a powerful stream recorder, for keeping memories or creating complete compositions.
WAV format recording is possible on a MicroSD card, for mixed or multitrack stereo output, pre- or post-fader.
Control recording and playback using the dedicated front-panel buttons, and use the marker function to pinpoint important moments and speed up editing in post-production.
