At first glance, the BOSS PX-1 Plugout FX exudes guitar culture. It revisits over 40 years of effects, giving you access to such legendary models as the OD-1, CE-2 and VB-2, with stunning sonic realism and a response that matches every nuance of your playing.
This little gem features a DSP engine that devotes its heart and soul to one effect at a time, to preserve all the subtleties of your signal. You'll find the familiar ergonomics of BOSS knobs, backed up by an LCD screen that displays parameters and internal settings. Whether you're looking for a full chorus or a hypnotic vibrato, everything is calibrated so that your fingers dictate the sound.
Behind its compact appearance, the BOSS PX-1 Plugout FX hides an almost limitless playground. You can go from a smooth phaser to a cutting distortion without losing a crumb of audio quality, thanks to its top-of-the-range converters and the AF method that optimises the signal-to-noise ratio. It's all done without a fuss: you adjust, you validate, and your sound takes on a new dimension in an instant.
It will also adapt to your environment thanks to its stereo inputs/outputs, control via an expression pedal (sold separately) and MIDI compatibility. And because timing is everything, the tap tempo, via a footswitch sold separately, is there to lock in every beat.
