Ideal for clubbing, electronic musicians, and beatboxers, the RC-202 packs the power of BOSS loops and multi-effects into a surprisingly compact desktop machine. Based on the hugely popular RC-505 Loop Station, the two-track RC-202 offers the same interface and look as its big brother, plus all-new features. Four input effects and four track effects are available simultaneously, and loops can be saved and recalled in real time for even greater flexibility. Additional foot controllers and MIDI options are also included, for players who have their hands full with guitar, keyboards, or other instruments.

The RC-202 can record two stereo loops with dedicated hand controls and status indicators. You can create and store 64 phrases in memory and recall them on stage at will. They are organized into 8 different banks for quick access. You can save a loop without stopping its playback, allowing you to work seamlessly, and switch between loops live to create evolving song structures and arrangements. The RC-202 offers an XLR microphone input, stereo or mono instrument inputs, and a stereo auxiliary input. All of these inputs can be used simultaneously, allowing you to build loops from multiple audio signals. It is also possible to send a click track only to the headphone output, a function ideal for live performance. Via USB, you can connect to a computer to save your loops in WAV format, or load RC-202 loops with playbacks or other sounds, for sampler-style triggering. The RC-202 also functions as a USB audio/MIDI interface, making it easy to use on stage with computer music creation software, audio recorders, MIDI sync, and more.
