D'Angelico Deluxe DC Satin Honey The Deluxe DC Satin Honey offers a direct, no-frills playing experience thanks to its three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck. The two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers, combined with coil-splitting, cover everything from vintage clean tones to a more biting sound, from the studio to the stage.

Presentation
Satin Honey – the name flows almost as smoothly as the honey it evokes. D’Angelico has given this Deluxe DC a satin finish that softens the grain to the touch, a far cry from the classic gloss of the Excel range — a matt texture that appeals to the touch as much as it does to the eye.
The semi-hollow body with a central block, crafted from laminated maple for the top, back and sides, channels the bass with stability and suppresses feedback as the volume rises. This design provides a stable foundation for the two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers, fitted at the neck and bridge: their tone evokes the warm, round sound of vintage 1950s humbuckers, which coil-splitting streamlines with a single click to a brighter single-coil tone.
The three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck adds a layer of stability and a tonal character unique to this combination of woods, shaped to a C-profile and fitted with a set neck. The thickness ranges from 20 mm at the first fret to 22 mm at the twelfth, a subtle curve running along the ebony fingerboard with a radius of 304.8 mm, fitted with 22 Jescar 47/104 frets and a 42.86 mm bone nut that preserves the natural sustain of the open strings.
The gold-plated Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece ensure precise tuning, secured by Grover 509 tuning machines. Includes a Deluxe Hardshell case, ready to play.

Spotlight on
D'Angelico is a New York brand of electric guitars that has existed since 1938. First went unnoticed because the guitars were manufactured only by hand in a very small workshop by two luthiers; it is in 2011, at a show at the New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, that D'Angelico is noticed. Since then, D'Angelico guitars have been a real success thanks to their quality of manufacture and their price.
