D'Angelico - Deluxe Mini DC Satin Honey

D'Angelico has scaled down the size with the Deluxe Mini DC Satin Honey, a compact version of its Deluxe range designed for shorter players and frequent travel. The semi-hollow body with a central block, reduced to a width of 355.6 mm, retains the intimate feel characteristic of smaller guitars whilst channelling the bass without unwanted feedback.
The top, back and sides, crafted from satin-finished laminated maple, boast a soft honey hue that is as pleasing to the touch as it is to the eye. The two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers, fitted at the neck and bridge with 4C wiring and Alnico IV magnets, reproduce that warm, round PAF tone, which the push/pull knobs can instantly strip back to a brighter single-coil sound with a single flick — two voices, one pickup.
The three-piece maple/walnut/maple neck, with a C-profile and set-neck construction, widens from 20 mm at the first fret to 22 mm at the twelfth, providing a stable grip despite its compact size. The rosewood fingerboard, curved to a radius of 304.8 mm, features 22 Jescar 47/104 frets and a 42.86 mm bone nut that preserves the sustain of the open strings.
The gold-plated Tune-O-Matic bridge, Stopbar tailpiece and Grover 509 locking tuners ensure stable tuning. Supplied with a Deluxe Hardshell case, ready for travelling light.
