This combines the advantages of small capsules, with the reduced inherent noise obtained from a larger membrane surface. These capsules have fast transients and a wide bandwidth.
The sonic realism and high acoustic fidelity delivered by the DPA d:dicate 2006C, are recognized by sound engineers and professional musicians around the world. It is essential for miking pianos, acoustic guitars, wind instruments and choirs.
The 2006C omnidirectional double-diaphragm microphone is part of the DPA d:dicate series. It combines the MMC2006 capsule with the MMP-C preamplifier. At any time, it is possible to modify the 2006 C into a new configuration, by attaching another capsule, or another preamplifier, from the d:dicate series.
Another option, for true audiophiles, is the d:dicate 2006A dual-diaphragm omnidirectional microphone. It offers low distortion and a very precise and faithful sound.
